'To Whom It May Concern' is an emerging writers night produced and directed by Salt Circle Productions. The one-hour show consists of monologues around different themes. Tonight’s theme is 'restlessness' and will be performed by brilliant London based actors.
This is an evening of letters that were never sent. A night of connection, revolution and power as we hear the voices of 'us', the general public that is often overlooked.

Tsipora St. Clair Knights
Writer and performer of 'Melanated Glaze of Wonder'
“If you were to mix black and white, aren’t we just creating that grey area that nobody wants to discuss?” ~ Film: Roots by Tsipora St. Clair Knights
Tsipora is a multidisciplinary artist from South East London whose creative practice is rooted in exploring the complexities of identity & lived experiences through movement, film & spoken word. Alongside this, she has been learning how to use her art as a tool of activism to create meaningful change, through the lens of addressing a lack of diverse representation, accessibility & elitism within the arts and can often be found sipping tea, obsessing over stationery, or contacting her loved ones at all hours of the day seeking solutions for “creative dilemmas!”
Since graduating in Dance last year, she has participated in Rising Arts’ Our Culture (June-Aug 2021), co-produced [re]Glitch for Theatre Peckham’s Young, Gifted & Black Season (July-Oct 2021), completed the Old Vic’s Backstage Programme (A Number - Dec 2021-Feb 2022) & has just completed ADF’s Leadership Lab (May-June 2022). Currently she is working as an Arts Project Assistant at NDT Broadgate, is a member of Southwark Playhouse’s Black Writers’ Collective, a Board Member of Rising Arts & Purple Moon Drama & having completed the 100 Agents of Change Activism Residency (Nov 2021), has been awarded funding from In Place of War to develop her project, ‘Universal For Who?.’
Matiss Lovski
Writer and performer of ‘Prayer'
Matiss Lovski, having obtained a degree in Drama in 2021, now writes and performs, forever navigating the corporate and the creative, conformative and liberated, the East and the West, pride and shame.

Frazier Bailey
Writer of ‘Strawberries'
Frazier is a writer for film and theatre, based in London. His work has featured at the Bread & Roses Theatre, the Crushed Ear Society and at Platform Southwark for Brainchild Festival’s Hatch. He is currently working on a full-length play about exploitation in the clothing industry and adapting his short film about the absurd world of elite private tutoring, currently in pre-production, into a feature-length film.
Nell Rayner
Writer and performer of ‘Bodies'
Nell Rayner is a queer writer and creative currently studying at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. They enjoy writing about human connection and relationships, with her work often taking the form of spoken word and poetry as well as plays. Nell started out in the theatre world with Godalming Theatre Group at age 11 and has been a part of the industry ever since - acting, directing, and mainly writing, with her recent short play “His Final Bow” having its debut in the Central SU-Fest in February. Currently they are working on a new one person show that they hope to take the stage next year after she graduates.
Jacob Ethan Tanner
Writer of ‘What's The Point?'
Jacob Ethan Tanner is a Film and Theatre maker from Wales. Having acted in numerous productions back home, he moved to London to study at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, discovering a passion for writing along the way. He wrote the internationally award winning short film "It's Quiet in the Cold", and this coming year will begin production on his next two short films "Blank." and "Aurora". As well as his behind the camera work, he stars as "Jac" in the BBC Wales short film "WHEELS", to be released later this year.

George Evans
Performer of 'What's The Point?'
George Evans (he/him) is an actor and theatre maker based in South London. He graduated from the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts in December 2021. Credits include: Fantastic Fred (Southern Tour), Twelfth Night and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Redgrave Shakespeare Festival), Growth (ALRA Theatre), Journey’s End (Portland Works) and My Mate Dave Died (C Venues).
Bex Finch
Performer of 'It's just people. And difference.'
Bex Finch is a Neurodiverse Actor, Writer and Aerialist based in London.
As an accomplished theatre actress, she has appeared on some of the biggest stages in the UK as Viola in Shakespeare’s TWELFTH NIGHT, and Ismene in the classical Greek play ANTIOGONE. Her onscreen performance as Hermia in the 2020 adaptation MIDSUMMER NIGHT STREAM is currently part of the syllabus at Syracuse University, and graced the cover of the Routledge British Shakespeare Journal.
She is also highly experienced with immersive and improvised theatre, working with Secret Cinema on their adaptations of BLADE RUNNER; ROMEO+JULIET; CASINO ROYALE; and STRANGER THINGS. More recently, she appeared in a live adaption of Netflix's popular TV series, MONEY HEIST.
During the 2020 lockdown, she was one of the founding members of the online theatre company CtrlAltRepeat. Their original production, VIPER SQUAD, won Best Online Immersive Show at the Off West End Awards in February 2021. She was also part of the leadership team interviewed for a chapter in the Arden Shakespeare book on the subject of performance in lockdown.
Bex is attached in a leading role to A HUNGRY FEELING, the next feature from award-winning director Richard Weston; and has just completed work as Dominique in MURDEROUS MUSES, the next game from D'Avekki Studios.
She is also currently recording the next audio drama from Kingdom of Pavement, whilst continuing to write and create her own work.
Michaela Wilkinson
Performer of 'Strawberries'
Michaela is an Mountview graduate actor and writer. She is currently writing her own play. She recently performed a long monologue from this at the Space Arts Venue and is gearing up for upcoming writers’ submissions.
Lucy Hall
Musical Performer
Lucy Hall is an acoustic singer/songwriter and music teacher based in London. In 2021, she released her bedroom-recorded debut EP 'The Lines EP', where she sings of love, loss, connection and self-discovery. She combines folk-pop with shimmering and sincere vocals to create a sound that is wistfully nostalgic.
THE DIRECTORS
Kofi Enuson
Director of 'Melanated Glaze of Wonder'
Kofi Enuson is an aspiring director and writer. He gained his Master’s Degree in Film and Television Studies from the University of Warwick in December 2020 after graduating with BA in Philosophy and Literature in 2019. He is currently working full time at a London-based Film and TV PR firm while continuing to explore his academic and creative interests, which include black aesthetics in literature, film and television, Japanese cinema, and gender-based and psychoanalytic approaches to film and tv analysis.
TJ Roderick
Director of 'Strawberries'
TJ Roderick is a writer, director and performer from the South Wales Valleys. He is interested in LGBTQIA+ Theatre, absurdism and post-modern Theatre writing techniques. He has just finished his BA Hons at Goldsmiths University and will be graduating the day before the performance. TJ is one half of Woodhouse&Roderick, who write direct and perform together and have just finished their run as Presidents of the Goldsmiths Drama Society. Alongside Heather Woodhouse, TJ has recently completed a final run of his show ‘Negativist’ which they also toured to Wales.
Elle Phelan
Director of 'What's The Point?'
Elle is an aspiring theatre-maker and playwright based in London. She currently spends her days working in Film & TV production and will soon begin studying for her Masters degree in Dramaturgy by night.
Grace Darvill
Director of 'Bodies'
Grace Darvill (They/She) is an actor, facilitator, director and writer currently studying performance politics and society at Goldsmiths. With a passion for community theatre and the power of playing Grace aims to create thought provoking work through theatre.

Maeve Dolan
Director of 'It's just people. And difference'
Maeve Dolan (she / her / they) is been a long standing drama student and performer with a passion for writing and directing. She is currently completing her degree in Musical Theatre at the London College of Music, hoping to hone her craft. Tonight marks her public directing debut and she is so thrilled to be working with Salt Circle Production and all those associated.
